Napa Valley's quiet two-lane road, bordered by vibrant vineyards and broken up by Michelin-starred restaurants and beautiful wineries, is one of the best road trips for those with sophisticated palates.

The Silverado Trail, created in 1852 to link Napa and Calistoga, is roughly 30 miles long, with world-class destinations to pop into along the way.
